Mann, I'm with you on that 2/0. I got 250ft of 2/0 and cut it in half for 125ft each.. that stuff is heavy. I'm putting spools in my trailer right now 😂

to free up the vice use a piece of threaded rod in handle hole. use a turn knob to hold in place in thru hole on table.... quick clamp to adj grinder throttle.

loping off and old truck axle is a hit tip for sure. esp if ya can find pillow blocks to fit. 🎉

Quick tip for making nice smooth cuts with your oxy-fuel torch. You score the line with your grinder cut off disc it won’t burn off and disappear when cutting and the flame will follow the score not trying to wander back and forth making a rough cut. If you keep the flame on the scrap side of the line your piece will have the nice smooth edge from the scored line.

Explain to young people what a "rolled offset" is and how to determine the rise and run. Probably take a whole video. Its a question they will likely be asked if they apply for a pipefitter job somewhere. Also how to determine the length of take up of a 45 buttweld fitting w/o looking looking in the blue book. Both these questions I was asked once when applying for a job at a refinery.

Hey Jake can you please do a video on the Technique for 6 G 6010 cap on API 1104 test no one has a video on it everybody caps with. A LH 1104 requires 6010 all the way was having difficulty on cap for Left and right side under the impression it had to do with Hemisphere thanks .

This is true, and i think most of us in business have dealt with this. Early on, i would do damn never anything and cheaper than anybody, once that word got out.. it was hard to erase that reputation and get away from those customers. 10 years later, things are way differnt. You live and learn.
